I'm glad Joe Gallagher is not his trainer, hopefully pulled out before a career killing defeat.

I think if he's getting a going over Lockett will put towel in. Gary seems to do that when he feels fight is all but lost.

I think Rees will do himself justice and show his ability. I think he's got enough experience to get himself into middle rounds at the very least.

I hope so. I think he might do better than a lot of people seem to think. Everyone is saying broner is the new mayweather but i don't see it myself. I think he is far from that,he is good and is rightly the favourite to win but it's not as if Gavin Rees is a total no hope fighter,he is a former world champ who has only lost 1.

Cut Gavin some slack. The Las Vegas bookies making him 80/1 is just ludicrous. Whether you think he has a chance or not, he deserves respect.

Rees is obviously going to try to drag Broner into the deep water and I honestly see him giving Broner a good fight for the first 6 or 7 rounds. After that though I think he'll tire and AB will step on the gas. Either a corner or ref stoppage in round 9 or 10.

I think he'll give broner problems and get through the twelve rounds.

Just because most people don't give Rees a good chance to win, or even be competitive, doesn't mean we don't respect him.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, if Derry Mathews can out-box you for several rounds, what will Adrien Broner do??

Almost everyone is saying he's going to get destroyed in a one sided beatdown. Rees is hard as nails, he may be outclassed but he's not going to be flat out battered by anyone. When I say cut him some slack and pay him respect I mean support him and stop writing him off as a joke opponent.

80/1 is ridiculous odds. Bigger upsets have happened than Rees beating broner. The way some people are talking this lad has the skills of mayweather and punches harder than McClellan.

I think gavin will do a great job swarming broner and take him out of his comfort zone but will lose on points

I'm havin a tenner on gav as a mark of respect.broner is a human being-remember this and get behind rees.also people are expecting rees to wade in-i dont think he'l adopt this tactic for the first half of the fight at least.

Derry Matthews out boxed him for 'several rounds'. Really?

Watched it at the arena & out of the big group of us no one had Derry winning more than 2 rounds
