my opinion on ggg would be the same with our without this board and the many sad people who live vicariously through ggg
ya ...good one! lol....i really live through ggg by saying "hes a really good fighter....but his career is being managed horribly and hes proven nothing noteworthy" ya...i really live through ggg...like im out here "ggg is an atg...the best ever...beats anyone from 154-175 ever"!!!!! you arent even worth the time
GGG beeds to beat at least 2-3 elite fighters to have his defenses count for something... Hopkins beat Tito and Oscar.. I get GGG doesn't have the option to fight such high caliber opposition because its non-existant, but he has the opportunity to fight Lara at 160, and Canelo at 155. Hopkins a former LHW and huge MW was willing to cut weight to face Oscar De La Hoya.
Shockmaster, I have read in several post that you don't think it's cool what Canelo is doing with the 155, but you are being realistic about it and GGG fans are delusional. But realistically, if GGG break that record, it will be a big deal. It will become part of the history of one of boxing's prestigious divisions. It puts him in the talk of ATG at that weight class. You might not care, bit it will have historic significance. That is realistic whether you accept it or not.
True fight fans know thats a huge deal, massive historically. Only troll/haters could turn that huge accomplishment into a negative. Thanks for finally freely admitting you're nothing but a troll
It really depends on how you look at it, as an ACTUAL Champ GGG only has 5/6 defenses so it would take a while. But considering they consider the WBA JV Belt as legit possibly, although how you can say Jacobs isn't a real Champ yet believe this defense record thing is beyond me.
He can do it fairly quickly, with the division devoid of talent. His level of opposition is atrocious. Murray could probably be a top 15 guy some years in the 90s. Everyone else at the time Golovkin fought them has been fairly mediocre.
