from what i have seen so far he looks like crap.i know he don't have alot of experience but his father was the heavyweight champion of the world for crying out loud. and i mean he looks like complete garbage.i was excited when i heard he had a son turning pro but then i seen his fight and was like WOW! i just couldn't believe how bad he looked.

so anyone think he gets better and becomes a contender? :bbb

The last thing a boxer wants to see in his life is his own son being bashed up in the ring.

Don't worry, Old George will protect him, by feeding him a steady supply of cans.

I bet he has some excellent power. I'd love to have a share of those Foreman genes.

The problem is that Monk Foreman is too soft to be a boxer mentally, he has studied at the country's best universities, has a degree, has business accumen, ran his father's empire and lived a very upper middle class life.

He might become one, but I don't think he will go very far.

George's son is the prime example of a guy who's just big and strong, without any amateur experience (at all) with 2 months of training just learning the job in the ring fighting "pro's" at the bottom of the pack.
There goes the theory "a regular Joe can't beat a pro boxer". :yep

But he's learning on a steady pace, and if he does have a "chin", he might eventually become a low end contender.

You dont know that yet. While the majority of good fighters come from poor or working class backgrounds theres been a few fighters who have come from middle class familys to become good fighters. Marco antonio barrera is a prime example of this and you couldnt say he is soft mentally:good. Im holding my judgement back on him till they put him in with good opponents, its too early to tell right now how good he will be.

What because he's well educated and lives a decent life that makes him soft, thats a big assumption.

i've recently learnt not to judge a fighters heart like that.

devon alexander and victor ortiz came from the streets, devon came from one of the most dangerous places in america yet both are soft as **** while tim bradley and amir khan have had more comfortable upbringing and have tremendous heart.

I haven't seen enough of him to say, but being George's son, he will probably feel pressured to be *another George*.
