Murata would be Charlo's best opponent by far. As for Lara he was the idiots hero at the time, the man who would beat Golovkin, the man who GGG was ducking despite Laras management never approaching K2 and him sounding off on Twitter. Lara the guy who got a gift over Molina.
And what type is that? I like to think I'm pretty fair when talking about fighters that I like and dislike. I'm not rabidly agreeing with every anti Floyd post unlike some in regards to GGG.
Charlo doesn't have to fight murata that's the thing. Hes mandated to fight GGG and guess what? GGG doesn't have anything to offer him now but his name. If he goes else where and chooses not to fight charlo, that's a duck. Plain and simple. Murata needs to go fight somebody.
You really are reading into something that I've not actually said. I've never said Charlo has to fight Murata, yet you keep harping on like I have. Also if Golovkin chooses Murata or BJS over Charlo it is not a duck, GGG is not behold to the WBC and both Murata and Saunders are just as good if not better fights over a guy like Charlo who isn't any more proven than the fighters I mentioned.
You mentioned it just like you wanted Lara to fight Jacobs, just to get a crack at GGG. And if BJS loses Andrade and Murata keeps defending this regular belt in Japan against soft touches, then what? The thing is Charlo is getting more notoriety by the minute and is more on the main stream level than Murata is. Nobody really knows who Murata is outside Japan and boxing forums. Charlo is the bigger fight to take if he clearly wants to get Canelo back in the ring.
Where did I say it? And where did I call for Lara to face Jacobs? As for soft touches what do you call a crippled Heiland and Centeno (so).
You brought up Murata as an opponent Charlo should fight because he likes to talk. No need, he's mandated to fight GGG next. And my apologies I tend to group GGG fans together especially when i hear the same stuff being said over and over in regards to GGG. THAT said GGG has to go back to the drawing board, and hed most likely go in the direction of the relatively unknown Murata, instead of fighting the hungry lion, Jermall Charlo.
I really didn't all I claimed was Murata would be his best opponent to date if they did fight and that was in reference to Murata being a better fighter than Trout and on equal footing to Charlo at this moment in time at 160. I'm not sold on the Charlo hype, besides arguably losing to Trout he's beaten guys who are very poor and the same guys championing him for such wins are the same that deride GGG regarding his opposition.
Murata lost to njikam and doesn't fight outside of Japan. Charlo has a better resume and is way more known than Murata and has earned his shot at a fight with GGG. Mirada needs to fight outside of Japan if he wants to be taken as a serious contender/ regular belt holder. Beating the blandamuras of the world isn't cutting it.
He's the champion he can fight where he wants but his opposition needs to get better but then gain so does Charlo's.
It’s not a duck because he isn’t his mandatory, as long as GGG doesnt have a belt he is free to pick his fights. However if he wants to fight Canelo, this is his route.
I thought it was a bad decision myself but its still in the books and people who don't know who he is, is going to say. "He lost to njikam, and beat a no named bum named blandamuras and everyone is making a fuss out of this guy???... Lol" Point of the matter is he's unknown and shouldn't even be brought up as a person Charlo should fight when he's not even established yet. Period
