Will GGG haters say Ward only did 97K buys despite similar reported figures?

Yes they will, it's called trolling

It's an easy way to figure out is worth your time on this forum and who is not

It's just a handful of guys and they only post about a handful of fighters, it's just a game, will never stop, so just don't feed the trolls and life goes on

 

Look 97K or 160k its still as equaly f××ed up. Those are okay #'s for a Terence Crawford for ex, but when u got Ward, GGG and Kovalev in those equations and still sell poorly I think it shows how the PPV model is dead and how the top boxers are grossly overpaid for what they can pull in as revenue.
Boxing is in a recession.

 

Now we're cooking with gas. He'd have also let the guy he beat in the final of his home staged tournament take on the guy seen as his most dangerous opponent at the time whilst having one of the other top contenders and his stylistic nightmare pull out before that fight gets made.

If he does move up he can then take out one Scouse never was, unproven contender and a regional level guy from the weight below before getting a gift decision against the number one SMW in the world. That would have shut his detractors up!

 

lol on a more important note, did you see paul smiths scorecard for that fight? i was half expecting paul ' im worldclass ' smith to come out and say that he is now superior to kovalev since he did better than him against ward

 

I've been laughing about Carl Froch's attempts to deify Ward for a while now too. Anything to try and elevate himself to being the second best of all time. He'll prob start wearing t-shirts saying SBOAT.

The Smith brothers are hilarious though. They might well be the most deluded family in boxing which considering the level of competition out there is really something.

We were way ahead of you on that one. I said all of his fights bar the final would be in Karanda which the tournament deciding bout held in neutral Almaty.

 

They're all deluded IMO. Stephen, Liam and Callum are profess to be world class despite not having a single world class win between them.

Stephen flopped twice at world level whilst Liam got a strap without fighting anyone who was in anyone of notes top 20. Was there a guy even in the top 30 on his run to the title?

Callum will prob be the last to flop at world level whilst declaring himself world class in the process. It's the Smith family way.

 

I think Callum is the best of the Smiths, and as 168 isn't that good, he probably has a decent shot against anyone there. I'd favour him against Tyron Zuege, although not against DeGale or Zurdo Ramirez.

Totally agree about the others, none of them are world-class.
