There is a chance Golovkin will get a fight with Cotto, but I doubt if Roach will allow such. Quillin will never come near Golovkin.................

Yes, he will have a big fight with Martin Murray next month. It's a boxrec 5-star fight. It's big.

Yes, he will have one. But afterwards they will say he hasn't proven anything because the guy was either overrated or not a middleweight or shot. And he should face Kovalev/Ward to prove he's a legit Middleweight champion.

I think most consider golovkin the legit MW champ now
only cotto's cherry-picking stands in his way, and without one governing body nothing will be done about that

I mean the haters and trolls, not the actual boxing fans who already see Golovkin as the man at Middleweight :good

    What is a "big fight?"

Cotto, Quillin, Alvarez, Lara, Ward, Froch... I doubt it.

Murray, Lemieux, Ndam... hopefully he faces each of these men if none of the above happen. None will surpass his best win (Geale), but they may slot in at #2 or no lower than #3 (which would put them behind the Macklin KO, too).

quillin wouldn't rate anywhere. hes the reincarnation of felix sturm
and you'd have to rate any of the others above the geale win

As far as quality of the W, Geale, even fresh off his close Barker loss, >>> each of Murray, Lemieux, and Ndam and I don't really find it all that close. Geale's biggest highs and worst lows are better than each of them have.

How can you say Quillin wouldn't rate anywhere and then say that Ndam is a better win than Geale? Quillin dropped Ndam 6 times en route to a good victory (despite losing more rounds). Lemeiux has two relevant wins and they weren't close to being against top 10 opponents. Murray is easy to argue for I suppose as I did score the Sergio fight to Murray and thus believe he should have been crowned lineal champion. But I know there were plenty who thought Sergio won, so not sure how to really rate Murray considering that Sergio and Felix aside, his resume is the thinnest of everyone being mentioned.

I should have been more clear. I was only referring to the first line of opponents

Why are people saying that Quillin is a "big fight"? Quillin's best win is N'Dam, that's it! Why is he considered among the best names at MW? Golovkin has fought Geale, Macklin, and coming up Murray which are better than anything Quillin has done.

IF this fight will happen, it will be at c/w - 155/156 lbs. They would try to bring GGG down in weight as much as possible to have a big avantage against him which is a biiatch ass move.

I think this is the last year Golovkin should try to get the big fights @160.
If he doesn't get fights with Cotto, Canelo, Quillin or Jacobs until the end of the year he should move up to 168
