they say alot of things...alot of people/camps do....i think right now even degale is a problem for him and even guys like fonfara and joe smith would beat him...so 175 is out of the picture IMO
agreed....the best golovkin could do is 168...175 guys would murder him IMO...maybe im wrong but thats how i feel....
Who isn't Ward all wrong for? I think Golovkin has the pedigree and the power to hang with Ward if accustomed to the weight and after a couple of fights against bigger opponents. A lot of what ifs, but who knows?
if they felt this way they would have been keen to fight him coming off a long layoff and at a weight golovkin fans claim ward couldnt make anyway(168).....they werent keen on that....they are less likely to be keen after watching him take kovalevs best and fight back i never thought ward dominated or blew ggg out either...i just think he finds a way to win convincingly...and i think golovkins people felt the same
or vegas...or atlantic city def wouldnt want to golovkin to have to travel right? afterall he is based in the US now!
No. It's going to take Ward 2 years to rematch Kolvalev and then he will retire. Plus I think Golovkin would campaign at super mw for a while after movingh up from mw
Not only will it not happen, it doesn't need to happen. Both guys seem very comfortable in their current weight classes and will work on finishing building their legacies there. Ward has unfinished business with Kov, and GGG aims to unify at middleweight. Plus, there would not be enough money to be made for either man to entertain the thought of moving up or down as neither are big PPV stars at the moment. Their paths will only cross in the minds of boxing fans who enjoy pondering fantasy match-ups.
Since when does a bout between two of best fighters in the sport not need to happen?? Its one of , if not the best fight to be made in boxing. The fight is essential and should have happened. If GGG has ambition to be great he would be calling out Ward to beat the band.
