    Golovkin has a shot. He has the blessing of HBO, who seems to desperately want to turn him into the next big star.

    Golovkin couldn't hope for a better set-up.

    Doubtful. There is no Oscar out there for him to fight. Maybe he can fight Canelo but I don't see there ever being any mega PPV stars again.

    If he gets ktfo'd tomorrow it will be a bigger pie in the face for HBO than Wlad-Sanders was.
    If GGG KOs or beats David and Canelo/Cotto by fall next year he will be an absolute megastar, and there's just no rational way to see it any different.

    Agreed on all counts, although I'm not sure being a "megastar" in boxing will measure up to the same standards of financial success celebrated by Floyd and Pac.

    if he posts a video demanding a fighter to take a GGG Drug test then maybe he could be the next face of boxing :bbb

    for the meantime, Floyd, the proponent of anti-PED's in sport is still the face of the boxing :rofl
