Charlo needs to beat a top 160 pounder to make the fight more credible.
And he needs to take VADA.

Look at all these freaks championing Charlo like he deserves something for beating an injured Helland. Charlo earned nothing, why are you not crying Misty for Derevyanchenko he has been IBF mandatory for longer and beat two fighters both better than Helland for his spot?

All these bean counters and A side diva jock sniffers suddenly want GGG to put his big money fight(s) on hold for a freakin' Charlo fight. LOL

Do not worry all these cretins will win in the end because GBP and there web of corruption will screw GGG out of his belts in the rematch and he will be rutterless in the ocean being sunk by boxing waves of corruption. Then you can cry about Canelo not fighting Charlo and I will be right there with you. HELL: at least I admit by bias'.

The conspiracy is 2 days ago internet news sites started running a story about some random street guy heckling Mayweather about GGG, saying that he was afraid of him and Floyd arguing back for some reason.

He argues instead of ignoring the "stranger" and now he is back taking pictures in the gym. I wagered that he would come back again for the 3rd time and offer GGG his dream fight and some money just to be an a hole to Oscar and Canelo in May.

Probably not unless Charlo moves up to 168. I think Golovkin will just do 2 or 3 more fights at 160. One vs the winner of BJS/Lemieux, one vs Canelo again, and MAYBE one fight at 160 in between that.

But Charlo beat a cripple! Damn, the cripple could hardly walk, much less fight! Charlo should have fought Jacobs, then he could make a money fight for Golovkin, but Oscar is preventing Golovkin from fighting anyone as Oscar wants to keep Golovkin inactive as long as possible, hell, it will probably be years before El Pollo fights the rematch. Oscar is a damned liar and a crook!

at 154 ggg would lose this fight. He could not stop jacobs, he could not stop canelo, and money has a atg chin. hell canelo fighting off his back foot clowned ggg at times during their fight. I would take TBE in this fight , based on what I have seen from ggg lately.:icon_popcorn:

GGG waited 2 years for his WBC mandatory, Charlo can wait too :)
He's young, take a 2 year break young fella.

Canelo rematch or Saunders for all the belts should be next for 2018. If Golovkin wants to fight 3 times next year he should fight also Jacobs rematch, Charlo or Derevyanchenko.
But either Canelo or Saunders should be priority.

Charlo isn't etablished @160 yet, one bigger win vs Heiland shouldn't be enough to become the challenger for the top guy.

Charlo should fight either Jacobs, Saunders. Lemieux, Derevynchenko or N'Dam N'Jikam before he get a shot vs Golovkin. The fight need to marinate a little anyway.

Charlo vs Golovkin @160 might be a fight for May 2019.

well he has an ibf mandatory, the wbc says he needs to rematch canelo but Canelo won't fight til may

theres another champ at the weight with the last belt and then there's charlo

a canelo rematch and unification are higher on the totem pole for my interest

if canelo wants to wait and he can't unify and the ibf don't step in then I say why not charlo

Golovkin hasn't ducked anyone @160 so far why should he be afraid of Charlo.
Charlo couldn't smoke Austin Trout. Why do you think he will smoke Golovkin?

While I agree that Golovkin gets old there is still a difference between fighting injured Heiland and fighting GGG

Charlo gets praised for fighting an injured boxer, if Golovkin fought an injured boxer he would be crucified

This is the correct answer. I would watch GGG-Charlo, it would be a decent matchup. However, it's not top of the food chain at 160 right now.
