Will Golovkin ever fight Jermall Charlo?

    Based on the above responses, looks like GGG is tied up for sometime.

    One way I can see the fight happening is Canelo bearing GGG, then the WBC orders Charlo vs GGG for the vacant strap because Canelo isn’t fighting for it

    The reason I want to see this fight so bad is because GGG has already cleaned out the division.

    He beat Canelo. He beat Jacobs. Beat Lemiuex. Saunders is a gypsy bum.

    I don’t see Derevenchenko giving GGG problems. The only guy out there I think can really give GGG a tough fight is Jermall Charlo. I’d hate to see GGG tied up with other fights but Charlo never getting his shot

    Charlo needs to get fights at 160. I don’t know what’s going on but he’s a top dog. A good start at 160 for him would be Lemmy or Ryota Murata. He beats one of those at 160 and then its no doubt he’s top 3 middleweight

    Will he ever fight the #6 TBRB middle or the #9 Ring middle? Depends on if he can enhance his ranking and make a serious argument I suppose. Until that happens, Golovkin is free to ignore him or not as he likes.

    Yeah i can understand this, my only problem with this fight is that so far Charlo hasn't done anything @160 to deserve the Golovkin fight. So if he beats 1 or 2 top guys (Sauders, Lemieux, Jacobs, Derevyanchenko or Murray
    during the next 9 month ) the fight makes sense for late 2018

    The Heiland fight isn’t my reason for saying that, Charlo is just too young strong and hungry. His hand speed, jab and power will be a lot for GGG to handle at this stage.

    Sanchez is just going to ignore the fact that Golovkin defended his title against Kassim Ouma, Lajuan Simon, Gabe Rosado, Marco Antonio Rubio, Mathew Macklin, Makato Fuchigami, Willie Monroe, Curtis Stevens, and other assorted cans, and say that Charlo needs to earn it? :lol:

    Charlo is a top fighter but he hasn't done anything at 160 yet. Charlo should fight Jacobs, Lemieux or Saunders to prove himself at middleweight.
    Can't see this fight happen in 2018 maybe 2019
    Golovkin should go for Saunders or/and the Canelo rematch. Also a Jacobs rematch might be a possibility for 2018

    If Charlo is a mandatory then Golovkin will face him.

    As a voluntary defence, it's very doubtful. At this point, GGG is looking to maximise his cashout and Charlo brings no viewers to the party. Best thing Charlo could do is keep busy and keep winning. He can force the fight if he is clever.

    What had Ouma, Proska, Fuchigami, Simon, Rubio, etc. done at 160. You all are being hypocrites.

    You all have to stop with this ****ery. Monroe, Wade, Rubio, Stevens, Ouma, etc. brought viewership? Charlo is an intriguing fighter. He'll bring viewership, especially if people see that Golovkin is facing a big, dangerous, young, Black fighter. People will tune in, trust it.
