Will Golovkin have even 1 meaningful fight in 2016?

    GGG although is a great fighter expects others to step up in weight and face him but is not willing to do the same. I think he is wasting away his potential greatness and if he stays as a middleweight through his prime he will be forgotten very soon after he retires.

    I can only hope the fight with Canelo will happen late 2016 or early 2017. If not his promoters can reach out to Heiland, N'dam, Soro, Magomedov, or maybe Lee if he's feeling up to the fight.

    Cotto was the middleweight champion, Golovkin is a middleweight.

    Canelo is the WBC middleweight champion who weighs more on fight Night than GGG, Golovkin is a middleweight.

    Who exactly is Golovkin expecting to step up a weight to face him?

    Who is Gennady asking to "step up" ??? Both Pretty in Pink Cotto & El Pollo Canelo laid claim to being Lineal World Middleweight Champion. The title is contested at 160 pound limit. Gennady is not asking them or anyone else to "step up"
    but just to grow a set & "MAN UP"

    SO, it seems Golovkin and K2 will take a half step up and face Porky Chavez. I guess Soliman comes after.

    Why would he not? Easy work for Golovkin.

    If Canelo's power makes you gun shy then he's in a whole world of trouble with Golovkin.

    And if Lara truly wants the fight he needs to get his promotional outfit to actually do some talking instead of calling him out on twitter to his 5 fans.
