This is only really a question about boxing politics, not about boxing in the ring.

Somehow I'm still optimistic about WBC stripping the 155 lb champion. But WBO is not a given either, Lee didn't seem so promising in his last couple of fights.

Well Cotto has said multiple times he has no problem fighting GGG after the Canelo fight, & Canelo just said 155 and they can fight next.

I know it doesn't fit the narrative for you GGG super stans but some guys actually do take good fights.

Cotto made it very clear he doesn't want GGG and De La Hoya said he doesn't want to make the fight for the next 1,5 year so maybe he doesn't agree with you either. And Canelo who took on Lara and Trout without any hesitations demanding a ridicuolus catchweight sounded like he doesn't want the fight either to me :conf

Lee said that he would fight Golovkin after he beats Sanders, and there were even rumors that K2 is already negotiating with him which he declined.

At their recent convention, WBC confirmed that Cotto/Canelo winner has to fight Golovkin NEXT or Golovkin will be promoted to the full champion.

Instead, they want to fight him at 155 and hoping to drain him to death

No, but it doesn't matter. Having all the belts is about politics/backslapping/personal relationships/nationality/earning power. It's nothing to do with boxing.

I do think that people who want to insist upon "unification" don't understand that side of the sport. How many guys have to be randomly stripped before people understand that?

Cotto at no point has ever said he won't fight GGG or would avoid that fight, the most you can do is say he's stated you can't tell him who and when to fight and for a guy who's never fought a mandatory ever I feel him.

Oscar also said he wasn't going to put Alvarez in with Trout/Lara Ffs GGG makes excuses about fighting a guy Alvarez beat, as far as weight well one is a JMW and a big star the other is a MW who said he can make 154.

As much as it hurts you guys a non title fight half a lb or a lb over a division limit doesn't mean sh!t, Canelo didn't have to move up a division to make those fights.

Catch weights suck but GGG talked all that sh!t let him back it up stop protecting this boy while trying to claim greatness.

People are mad at Cotto or Canelo asking for a catch weight in what is their 4th/3rd division respectively but, GGG needs one in his second.

I don't see why anyone thinks GGG has bigger ***** than either, both have said repeatedly that GGG can get it after they fight. Cotto took on the real Champion in his 1st fight in his fourth division something GGG was shown scared to do, and Canelo has beaten guys they said he shouldn't fight also a guy who GGG makes excuses about fighting.

Y'all need to get serious I'll give GGG credit if he won, but y'all riding this man d!ck and have nothing to show for it.
