I want him to re sign with Matchroom because I want him to be on Sky and for everyone to see him. Hoepfully Hearn mans up and promotes George in the way he has with Brook etc. Groves should be going home with the belts. Im pretty drunk, but i'm sure the commentators said Froch needed a knock out. But why did the judges not see this. Something has to happen. Looks at the Burns v Beltran, Manny v Bradley and even Floyd v Canello. Dodgy decisions are ruining boxers. Imagine if Groves went on to win. He would have 2 belts and UK boxing fans could have someone to potentially beat Ward. But instead it's been ruined. I dont want a rematch. Groves wont be up for this fight like he was. An Carl will now be able to judge George's tactics. I've not saw the ref much. but his decision was awfull and imo such a costly decision should stop him from reffing again.

I can't see Hearn letting Groves get away.

Well, Froch can make it happen. The acceptable options are retirement or rematch. We shall see the true measure of his fighting heart now.

suddenly froch is not sure about a rematch see at 3:37

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yda5Gj6g8Kg

you know he doesn't want it

now he is talking about it like oh i won, a win is a win, I knocked him out... why do i have to fight him again?

he's ducking him although he said on national television that there should be a rematch

based on what froch said why does andre ward need to give froch a rematch when ward destroyed him and cruised to a UD?

Well, as I said...retirement is fine by me. I can't blame him if he calls it a day, it's been a tough, exciting run and if he wants to hang 'em up, I won't argue. I was spitting tacks at that earlier, but now I've calmed down, I'm not going to behave like a desperate, panting Klitschko fan for the next decade; retirement is a big decision, a very personal one and I respect it.

Fighting on and avoiding Groves? He goes down as having been Carl "The Coward" Froch, that becomes the definition of his career. Harsh, but - if you're going to blatantly duck someone in that way - true.

Have to agree with you.... if he retires then I think it's okay and I have no problems with it BUT if he decides he wants to continue boxing and doesn't give George a rematch there is something wrong with that.

it's just like gsp vs hendricks if you watch the UFC... if GSP retires then I got no issues but he CANNOT continue on fighting and not give hendricks a rematch

George was getting screwed by the judges. 1 round up!! He dominated the fight, lost 1 maybe 2 rounds. He needs a promoter who puts him first which is something eddie isn't willing to do.

Signing with golden boy is an option.

The only way they could appease groves is by givng him another title shot...

They won't appease the fans and they wont be able to sell froch as they have been trying to so far on sky box office as PPV header. His fights are exciting but everything groves said about him was true... He was lucky against dirrell and he lost to ward and kessler clearly in the super 6. His best win was busting up an overhyped deer in the headlights bute.

One thing i did like was how sky were actually quite good tonght with the eecision. Glenn was furious at the stoppage and the commentators all were with groves at the end. Itvwill be hard for eddy and matchroom to wriggle froch out of a rematch here... Sky look like they will demand it and depending on numbers and for the sake of their reputation (after the haye PPV debacles) they might not put on sky box office... Or being the greedy *******s they are... They will put it box office and put the ****ing price up!

What a deluded ****, in fact if the result has had one positive effect then at least Froch is now exposed himself to the British public for the obnoxious **** he has always been. Took another British fighter to do it, because hey robbing foreign fighters is one thing but another fellow Brit....
