Will GSP fight silva?

Too much size and weight difference, would be unfair for GSP. p4p sense, same height, same weight I would even favor GSP, but in a real fight, the reach, size disadvantage is too much too handle for GSP. Silva-Sonnen II needs too happen, because Chael schooled Silva winning every rd until the end. GSP vs Shields is gonne be great. At the very end Shogun vs Silva is the biggest fight that can happen today in MMA, except Fedor vs Velasquez.

 

I think it's about as likely as yet another Silva v GSP thread being posted today

gsp is my favourite fighter but he will get soundly beaten and it will put a blotch on his legacy.

GSP HAS to fight him. For his legacy. BJ moved up and fought Machida, Hughes 3X's and GSP 2X's. Shogun has fought much larger fighters. Anderson has fought larger opponents. It's time for GSP to give up some physical advantages and test his skillset and athleticism against a bigger opponent.

actually, what do you think it takes to beat silva in your opinion? i know plenty of fighters have obviously thought they knew, but it didn't work out for them.
do you think that you know?
is it staring everyone in the face yet no one else sees it?

 

GSP has been saying for over a year that he's adding weight and when he hits 200Ibs he will move up. And Meltzer is reporting that GSP has decided there's better matchups at middleweight than welterweight.

 

My sentiments exactly. 170 is essentially cleaned out after Shields and I would love to see GSP take the bold move up to fight Silva. Put that ***** in Montreal too and watch the live gate record fall.
