Thing about Guerrero is he may pull something new out of the bag. I'm not saying he'll do better than Cotto, but I've underestimated him before. I thought Katsidis would mess him up, and while he had his moments, Guerrero controlled the fight. I thought Berto would handle him easily after Aydin shoved Guerrero around. So I think he's malleable. Basic and kind of stiff at times, but adaptable in the gym preparing.

The intriguing thing about this fight is the intangibles; hunger, will, experience, slippage, and dirty fighting. There's no question who's the better boxer and in my mind the better fighter, it's Mayweather by a country mile. Guerrero will go into this fight willing to kill, die, and do whatever he has to, to get the win. Given what's on the line, and age, I would favor Guerrero to walk away with the win, IF this was just about any other opponent.

This is Mayweather though, and he has proven his heart, will, and while he has aged he is still better than his competition.

Cotto was a new man, refreshed with the confidence of a redemption win over Margarito. A new trainer, utilizing a scientific approach to training. Cotto arguably fought the best fight of his career, and pushed Mayweather to a point we hadn't seen him in years. At times, if you watched it live, you thought maybe Cotto could win. It wasn't enough though.

Does Guerrero outperform Cotto? I say no! The skill disparity between Cotto and Guerrero is too vast. Cotto has a great authoritative jab. He has good footwork. Excellent timing. He also has more power than guerrero.

After the fight, if there is a perception that Guerrero outperformed Cotto, it will be because another year of ring rust, and maybe even the jail stint that caused Mayweather to slip down another notch.

No. Floyd's 36. Floyd at 33 ices Ghost in a very, very lopsided decision. Floyd at 36... well, I'm not so sure. Anything can happen versus a hungry fighter who's coming off 7-8 years, undefeated, and has the punch output he has. Plus he's shown a chin in his last two fights.

The intangibles aren't in Floyd's favor imo

He made valid points. Whens the last time Floyd fought a prime southpaw as skilled as Guerrero. Judah? Clearly Judah is only good for the first half of the fight and mentally isnt all there. Guerrero doesnt have that problem. Plus he can fight outside or inside equally as well. Guerrero will look better than Cotto because styles make fights.

Judah's huge advantage was that he had trained and sparred with Mayweather previously. You're saying Judah is mentally "not all there", but he's faster, punches straighter with more pop, and has overall better hand eye coordination than anything RG has shown thus far.

It's an easy out to say, Judah is only a 6 round fighter. But Zab withstood a ton of pressure and punishment from Cotto(e) without giving up. Went the entire fight against the supposed "monster", Lucan Matthysse and has shown mental fortitude in other bouts. You're using a bunch of cliches to make your point, but are completely leaving out important facts.

One, that's bull****. Two, you're acting like Floyd has a stamina issue.

Definitely not. I'll be genuinely shocked if Guerrero troubles Mayweather the way Cotto did even in losing clearly.

No. Ghost will look better than Cotto because Floyd's 36. Cotto is far superior to Ghost, even the faded version Floyd fought... albeit at Cotto's weight.

Floyd just fought a prime Ortiz. People want to whine and say this and that, but when the fight was initially announced, it was considered to be a potentially dangerous fight for Floyd (as Ortiz's power was dangerous for anyone, truthfully speaking). And had the fight gone on I still wonder if Ortiz would've had his moments. My hunch is he would have.

Ghost doesn't have anywhere near the necessary power to trouble Floyd. Watch Ghost land flush shots on Aydin as he

for 12 rounds. Ghost has decent speed, decent chin, decent technique, decent offense/defense, but there's nothing stellar about him. The only reason this fight will be competitive is because Floyd's goddamn 36 years old.

I still have Floyd winning a competitive/close UD.

He may win a couple of rounds, but overall Floyd will dominate. Cotto gave Floyd a decent rumble. I don't see Guerrero making as interesting as Cotto did. Mayweather W 12.
