Will Hank Lundy ever become a raining champ at lightweight? I think he will eventually this guys pretty much have it all, he can get a little careless at time on defense as we seen before but he have great speed, power, foot work and good timing; but like I said before he gets a little careless at times.
Does he fight at 140? If so probably not. He is going to have to wait until the current 140 guys move up. Division is stacked and hell the 135 pounders are pretty bad ass too.
I think he took a step in that diriction last night. Granted David Diaz is not the greatest boxer in the world but Hank Lundy showed very good offensive and defensive skills. Being knocked down is never good, but he sowed poise and had regained contrrol of the bout before that round ended. I'm not saying that Lunday is going to be mentioned with Leonard, Whitaker or Duran, but that he has the abillity to become a champion.
No absolutely not! Only G's make it "rain" and within that privileged few only one man's swag can make him the true "raining" champ. Until Broner is dead, he is "that G". That being said Lundy could at some point get a belt he's not horrible but his chin is suspect IMO.
I think Hank Lundy can grab a belt, he comes into every fight with a strategy. everytime I've seen him he's looked fairly dominate, even in the loss to Molina. I don't think the kd's are an issue because he always gets up clear minded. he should really stop showboating though. all in all I've enjoyed every fight i've seen him in. He should also stay at lightweight, he's a small guy.
awww hell naw. This guy is a glass jawed joke that was put on ***** street by David Diaz of all people. He'll probably be a belt holder through some political BS of fights a champion with no power like Vasquez but overall he's nothing special. Just an ESPN hypejob.
Will he grab a belt? Probably, some time. Keep it? No. He's a talented athlete with speed and pop. But he's very vulnerable. I enjoy watching him fight though.
Best switch hitter in boxing. :deal ...but vulnerable, like you said. He's like a little baby bird. Stretching his downy head up outta the nest and squawking for mama to regurgitate some worms for him, calling the attention of every swinging apex predator dick at the top of the food chain. :verysad
He's got some tools, and like Martinez, he might hold the belt for a little bit in a weak division. I don't think he's gonna be any kind of imposing dominant champion or anything like that.
