Hey it worked for Gatti when Buddy trained him for PBF.....

    or wait.....

But seriously, PAC ain't a PBF style of fighter, and Gatti did change, is it possible that Hatton will be much different and we'll all be in for an upset that nobody saw coming?

Hatton has to fight his same style and he has to fight aggresive. The more aggressive the better. He cannot fight a slow pace or Pacman will just pick him apart. Body punches are the key also, but Hatton will have a hard time landing them on Pacman.

he only got to keep boxing against paulie because he knew paulie cant hurt him. Hatton will be back to his old self after a strong punch from pac and after that, the match would be three times more fun

I believe hatton will come in trying to used his new style floyd sr has taught him but as the fight goes on he'll be back to his old self. Like roach said it's hard to change a fighter style at this stage of his career.

Hatton has fought with the same style for so long that it will be hard for him not to go back to that style when the fight gets tough. Pacquiao has improved too since his early days but you still see the old pacman style in there when they start to brawl. He starts trading punches and he gets reckless from time to time. Hatton i believe will do the same.

Gatti didn't change, he was already a boxer before Buddy got to him. All McGirt did was get him back to his old style.

Anyway, I've already heard Floyd Sr. in interviews say that his intent was not to change Hatton's style, simply to improve his techical ability and that's basically what I expect. A more refined version of Hatton, not a different one.

    Watch the Malignaggi fight.

He was as aggresive as he always has been but he is being more defensive when he comes inside. Also he was throwing some nice straight rights and jabs landing more than often.

Seems like the same fighter only with more defense and lateral movement which is the perfect supplement to what style he already has.

I think Hatton will be much harder to hit and he'll be a more effective counterpuncher.

i believe hatton will be a transformed fighter. mayweather Snr is a very good trainer and I saw some improvements from hattion in the Paul Fraganamini fight. I think hatton will fight his best becuase he knw this is the second most imprtant fight of his whole career and also he's learned from his mistakes (billy graham)
