Since Hatton has Mayweather Sr. training him, will he be a better fighter this upcoming fight? What yall think?

If he doesn't try to change his whole game plan just some minor adjustments can't try to completly re-invent himeself too late in his career to do a whole lot.

Hatton will be confused and might lose his next fight...
horrible choice of a trainer, IMO.

LOL, not sure how it's going to turn out for Hatton. It is a totally different style for Hatton. I think Mayweather Sr. might just work with him on his defense.

No, Hatton is approaching being a shot fighter anyone who watched the fight with Lazcano will tell you that.

Hatton doesn't need a defense because Paulie will do little more than caress him. Ricky can charge in like he did against Kosta in his coming out fight. If he trys to outbox Paulie, that will give Mallinaghi somewhat of a chance.

I think Hatton is starting to show some wear and tear. He wasn't too overly impressive in his last bout and actually was hurt several times...pretty badly. Horrible choice of trainer for him.

Of course he is going to do better defensively! He has no defense... if he rated a 3 out of 10 for this next fight that would be a 300% increase in his defensive skill!!

i dont expect hatton to be a better fighter. i'd like to see him do well though considering the moves he's made.

he doesn't take the tripe haye and calzaghe does, he just keeps his head down and works hard towards his goal.

that's why he got his dream match and the others haven't.

I have never understood what is the hype about hatton. Am I the only one who believes he is WAY OVERRATED.Im not saying he is losing definitely against paulie, but he has no technique at all but just come foward like a crazy man, no tactic

Expect his hands to come up and his slips to be sharper.

I will quote Nacho Beristain though, "It's not only how your training camp has gone, its what you've been doing for the last year or so"

Ricky Hatton had an outright terrible year and been up and down in weight more times than Paul Malignaggi changed hair styles.

Ricky Hatton is inevitably ****ED for his life style, he's a good sport though... such a shame:|

I think his fight upcoming with Malignaggi is 50/50.. Hatton is getting old and is past his prime.. It's started showing and it'll show in this fight..
