hatton is rough, dirty and a tough fighter, he roughs you up and mauls you

hes not as fluid as oscar

but he definately hits harder to the body and that would probably be able to slow mayweather down.

i think hattons style would trouble mayweather more

I dont think so, you have to be able to catch Floyd in order to grab and hold him to a Win, Honestly Floyd will cut this kid up and stop him on cuts easily.

Floyd will put on a performance similar to what he did with Gatti. I really don't think Hatton has what it takes. He'll be trying to throw one punch and grab, but first of all he won't land the punch, and then there will be nothing to grab. If he tries to rough Mayweather up on the inside, he'll find Mayweather left elbow in his face constantly. He's going to get pounded to a ridiculous extent.

Yes. DLH looked lost hitting Mayweather's elbows and shoulders. Hatton would hit at anything that Mayweather gives him. He would hurt Mayweather without hitting him cleanly.

Hatton is no match for Floyd. Floyd will break Hatton down.

Hatton is definitely a match for FLoyd. His stle is going to be hard for floyd, and whoever wins, it isnt going to be by a lot.

De La Hoya's jab was a key weapon against Mayweather for 8 rounds. Mayweather backed up in a straight line while getting caught with De La Hoya's jab mostly every time it was thrown. Hatton's jab aint in the same league. De La Hoya also has more power than Hatton. Think Hatton could floor Mayorga with a blazing left hook, and stop Vargas?. Not a chance. Hatton simply aint as big, and doesn't have that kind of power.

Hatton does have better stamina than De La Hoya, and throws more punches during each round. He did get tired against Collazo, but believe me his stamina is one of his greatest strengths. Against Tszyu he was involved in a very physical fight, and it was a very high paced. Ive seen Hatton go 12 hard rounds at a fast pace many times.

Hatton stands almost no chance of beating Mayweather....it would be similar to Mayweather vs. Gatti. Hatton is a good fighter, not a great one....he should be matched against fighters like Torres, Malignaggi, Corely, etc....

It could well be like Mayweather v Gatti, but Hatton would definetley get off with more punches and make more of an arguement against Mayweather.

One key for Hatton being successful against Mayweather is using his jab often while he's trying to get inside. If he walked in without a jab, he'd make like difficult for himself.

He'll at least give Mayweather different problems. DLH is a big guy that can box well and has a good punch. Much different to Hatton who is much smaller, but is a lot more aggressive, can fight harder and for longer, and will make things messy.

If Hatton can impose himself on Mayweather and make it rough then he'll definitely do some damage.

Oscar had zero chance of beating Floyd, there is hope for Hatton though.
