I think Hatton is taylor made for Floyd. I don't give Hatton much chance to win this. he's predictable and comes straight forward, playing into Floyds game.

you guys thinking hatton can actually hit harder the Hoya is absurd! he had hell with collazo and can't bust a grape at welterweight ok,ok he beat a well worn use to be champ 135lb castillo big whoopty do! but him being a dirty fighter? no way, he doesn't low blow, elbow, head butt, or hit behind the head intentionally, thats dirty fighting he's a brit! those people are honorable he fight tough but PBF will unfortunately pick his shot's easily and win a UD12, Molsey is the the only fighter that can expose PBF right now in his prime! and you Cotto fans forget about it also same type fighter, same type outcome, remember styles makes fight's!:bbb

He just about beat him. So your opinion he had zero chance looks stupid. It was a pretty close fight.

Oscar won 3 (4 maximum) rounds against Floyd which was a best case scenario for him, Floyd could have and perhaps should have really impossed himself on his outclassed opponent.

this thread is kinda funny.. a bit like when fans used to say , Douglas stands no chance against Tyson. and then we all know what happened..

I'm not saying that Hatton will surely beat Mayweather , just that people shouldn't so "sure" about these predictions , because you never know...mayweather's 1rst loss could come from a fighter no one would expect to finish him...

Remember Hasim Rahman vs Lennox Lewis? fluke or not , it still happened.

Hatton's power yes it will give Mayweather more trouble but the style? Probably not, all PBF has to do is stay out and force Hatton to box.

PBF's fighting style will bother Hatton more than the otherway around. Don't forget that PBF has a longer reach and just for the sake of discussion . . . even if they are even in terms of speed . . . PBF has a better footwork that gives him the advantage on throwing punches from different angles.

Same with what I'm saying on the Taylor/Pavlik fight . . . if the other guy comes close for an infighting . . . just grab him . . . tie him up and let the ref separate them.

What weight are they fighting at?

We have already seen Hatton at Welter & Mayweather at
    Lt. Middle.

Hatton seems at his best at Lt. Welter....even though he
    is dried out.

And Hatton himself didn't look too good when he got hit with
    body shots at welterweight.

Mayweather's defense seems to lure you into still trying to
hit him clean in the head or body, when in fact just hit him in
the biceps like Marciano did, or the right hand to the
heart followed by the left hook to the jaw via Jack Dempsey.

We sometimes run down some of the Old Time fighters, but those
guys came from the hobo camps and Depression era and the
rules back then weren't so clean, fights were rough & tumble,
    and people got beat up.

Hatton is just going to have to beat up Mayweather to win.

I definitely see this a a tougher fight than DLH for PBF.

Hatton is prime and will assert pressure. DLH tried, but Hatton's younger, quicker, stronger, undefeated, and determined.

PBF is the favorite based on style, but this a legacy defining fight between TWO GREAT FIGHTERS IN THEIR PRIMES. It aint Leonard vs Hearns but its the best fight yet for Floyd.

Some thought Castillo won the first fighT? Hatton will be far better than that:good

DLH is different. Floyd has to keep Ricky off of him in a fast paced fight.

    It'll look like Mayweather/Chavez.

Hatton has much better stamina than DLH

If the Hatton that fought Tszyu turns up, then he has a good chance - that hatton was just ****ing relentless :scaredas:

All these goofballs claiming it will be a PBF win by KO - when was the last time PBF stopped an opponent cold?

He didn't stop Baldomir, Judah, DLH, etc.

Hatton has a good chin, PBF won't even try to KO him, it'll be pick, pick, pick all fight

But I think Hatton can impose himself on PBF - his specialty is roughhousing and pressuring - DLH was able to get PBF on the ropes frequently, I think Hatton can too, and once he has him there, he won't let up.

oscar did not try ro box pbf he ryed to run him over and got tiredin the process.hatton can do what odh tryed to do a whole lot better.full throttle and non stop and he will clinch to pbf every time pbf tryes to get off up close.

i think pbf should stay away from hatton in the inside, but i know pbf likes the pockect.will see depending on how good hattons defence will be in that fight.but hattons offence will be his greatest defence.
