i'm not too interested in this fight (though i will be watching), i see it as a mismatch, i see floyd cruising to a boring ud.

Only if Mayweather doesn't pop shot all night does it live up to the hype..Though MW is expected to win I just hope its nothing similar to the DLH fight !

Unless floyd deviates from his usual safety first gameplan, or Hatton really does unsettle him will this live up to the hype. One of the more interesting parts of this story will actually be what Mayweather does, I think we know what Rick will do, Im interested to see if Mayweather wants to finish Ricky, although he always barks the same **** about going toe-2-toe and making it a war, hope he gives it a go!

    Ricky to win UD

A fight of this nature can really only be a letdown if neither guy shows up.

I think we've come to know that Hatton is an ugly fighter. But he does produce good results and is to some degree more entertaining than other grapplers.

Mayweather will forever be the guy that needs an opponent to come to him. He'll have that on december 8th.

I have serious doubts about Hatton KO'ing Floyd

Highly unlikely it will be an exciting fight considering the styles of both fighters - one is a wrestler the other is a runner.

I think it will start out fast and exciting but by about round 4 or 5 PBF will start to have Hatton's moves timed well enough to go into pot-shot mode and it will be a counterpunching exhibition from there on out. I would actually prefer to be wrong here just for excitements sake but this is the most likely outcome IMO.

    The fight will live up...

It depends on Mayweather. Will he stand in the pocket? Will he move and potshot?

DiBiase was very shallow and materialistic, I wish he would have been more like Hatton, a man of the people, that way, people would like him better:smoke

I agree, it will be similar to the De Le Hoye fight but i imagine Hatton will be more agressive than Oscar was - however it will still be predictable and a bit boring.

Exactly, the million dollar man takes himself too seriously. He's not lile Ricky who's down to earth, and likes to have a pint with his mates at the pub while having a laugh.

Floyd is not the "bigger man" He was fully hydrated 148lbs in his fight with Oscar, Hatton comes in at 150-154 when he is at his best. Therefore Hatton is the "bigger" man. Floyd has a reach and height advantage.

Floyd does not "run" bar in the Baldomir fight. He is a pure boxer who does not throw many punches.

Floyd will be unable to do a "gatti" because Ricky will not try to box him and stand mid range. He will stick to Floyd like a cheap suit.

Floyd does not deal as will with pressure as he does other styles. He has not faced anybody as fast as Ricky Hatton (footspeed).

Floyd will stick and move his way to a UD.
