I think it will be like Manilla, Floyd isn't usually a runner and Hatton isn't usually a wrestler these are just stereotypes people believe because they can't be ****ed with learning the full story.

I don't know if a fight with Mayweather can be exciting. His style just does not allow it. Mayweather will take a somewhat controversial UD because Compubox will list him as landing more punches, but people will be upset because they think Hatton should be given credit for bringing the fight to MW and for all the punches landed on MW's arms and chest and so forth. IT WILL NOT LIVE UP TO THE HYPE. Anyone that takes the time to bother posting on an internet boxing website more than likely has enough knowledge of the sport to know that this matchup will not make for a good fight. Hatton coming in, Mayweather potshotting and moving to a boring win.

It could only be a let down for me if it's a draw or gift decision. I'm as much interested in the outcome as I am in the action itself.

I am also very interested in seeing how well Hatton pressures and whether Mayweather will stop him or not.

There is talk about Mayweather's hands problems. This could be a ruse to make Hatton feel bullish and walk straight into Mayweather's punches. However, it could be an excuse for Mayweather to keep on his toes and go for an easy points decision too.

The only question in my mind is whether Hatton can be played like that or not. Hatton will charge no matter what unless Mayweather is aggressive. But if Mayweather isn't aggressive, Hatton will force him to become aggressive because he will charge even more confidently. In other words, Hatton's own strategy might dictate how aggressive Mayweather might be. The more aggressive Hatton is, the higher the chance of Mayweather stopping him, I think. And Hatton has no choice but to be aggressive!

What are your thoughts on this issue?
