Why is vits fighting in london any way ?, yeah the moneys probaly gonna be better, but am suprised they did not make haye go to germany, surley thats the current mecca of boxing and them being world champs they could demand where the fight takes place, will this to any one make any difference with the home crowd behind haye, and no doubt booing vits and his anthem as he enters the ring :hey,is it anything to do with setanta ? For me being at home makes it a much harder fight, in germany id have said vits if fit would win in a tight fight but would tire haye out after a few decent early patches, but being in england will be interesting to say the least
Because I have observed several of Sanders' and Haye's bouts, have read accounts of other fighters talking about their power, understand what mass and acceleration mean in terms of punching strength (Sanders is a much larger man, naturally, than Haye is and he is fast as hell), and also am aware that Lennox Lewis and his team made sure they ducked Corrie Sanders because of Sanders' punch and Lewis' chin. Look, we all understand you hate the Klitschkos and are hoping upon hope that Peter, Rahman, ANYBODY can beat them so you can have your vicarious, moral victory. Great. I'm just trying to let you know what's going to happen in the fight and why it's going to happen. Haye landed on a flailing, old and shot Monte Barrett repeatedly before he softened him up enough to take him out. Haye has a good punch, but it's not in the class of big-time HW punchers, particularly men much larger than Haye is like Lewis or Sanders. Neither did anything with Vitali despite Sanders' blazing speed, larger frame than Haye or Vitali's cut eye he had trouble seeing out of vs Lewis. If Lennox Lewis, with the aid of a bleeding eye, can't put Vitali down with his canon right hand, David Haye has no shot unless Vitali Klitschko is so far gone he will be buried the next day. It's not happening, no matter how much you or the Brits may wish it to happen. Haye has a dominant punch -- as a cruiserweight. As a HW, it's still a good punch, but not against someone with a chin like Vitali Klitschko. Not to mention the fact that Haye will have enormous difficulty being able to land shots in the first place. David "Herbie" Haye is going to be destroyed. He won't be knocking down Vitali, and he won't be leaving the ring without having been stopped unless Vitali's body breaks down as it did against Byrd or Lewis.
Of course its possible. If you catch him with a well timed, hard punch when he's leaning back away from punches as he does...yes you have a chance of putting him on his ass. It's not important, Haye needs to hurt him not just put him down.
In my opinion, it would that Haye is good and has great power at Heavyweight. I say this because Vitali has a great chin that hasn't benn dented or beaten on in his career. Take someone like Holyfield for example, after the many wars he has had and his reputation for being able to take power shots with ease, he gets dropped by JAMES TONEY! Do you think a Holyfield in his prime gets dropped by James Toney? What I am saying is Vitali hasn't taken punishment over the years and I would say he still can take as good a punch as ever.
Peter is shorter than Haye and they have approx the same reach. The prinicpal difference between the two is that Peter can't box, is slow as hell and weighs about half a tonne. Haye will put up a far better show against Vitali.
Yep, another round or so and VK would have been staring up at the lights thinking the aliens had arrived to probe him
