I know Haye does have the best chance in HW to beat both Klitchko brothers. I know many already hate him for talking to much and not delivering. But when it comes to skills and exiting style a lot of people support Haye. Lets assume Haye gets dominated by Wlad who many think is a chinny big man that can't deal with Hayes speed an power. I am not making predictions here so don't start to argue with me about the possible outcome. So if he does get dominated will everyone just praise WK skill or turn Haye into another bum who never had any chance in the first place? I think everyone will turn Haye into a bum who talks to much and got beat by "robots". Now lets assume Haye beats both Klitchko brother in one year. This would make him an automatic ATG in minds of a lot of people. You might not be one of those people but I am pretty sure Brits would create Haye channel after that happened. So the point I am trying to make is that Haye has an advantage over Klitchko brothers. If he beats them than he becomes possible ATG. If either of Klitchko brothers beat him they just beat another bum.
That's most likely scenario. Haye would be laughing stock for few years and after that pretty much forgotten. Just like what happened to Herbie Hide but in larger scale. If he wins both and retires he'll be HOF-material and worldwide star for sure. Edit: the funny thing is that both Klitschkos get more credit if Haye keeps avoiding them instead of losing like others.
some people just loosing the senses ... becoming title holder at HW (not mentioning that he was Ring champion at CW) does not allow to be calld a bum just because he might lose to one of the Klits ... also beating AGING Klitchkos does not warrant any ATG status, but thats a good start for entering top 20.
Ruslan Chagaev: Amateur world champion, beat Félix Savón. WBA champion, beat Valuev. -> Mostly known for losing Wlad.
he will never be either. he is good but not great. however you are talking about the perception of him by knee-jerk casual fans...the type who think 1 knock down makes you chinny & one loss makes you a bum. for those people he will either be a bum or an atg...but who cares what they think.
It'll be a bit strange. If Wlad was to beat Haye, his fans would declare it to be one of his greatest scalps (rightfully so). But at the same time they'll mock Haye and regard him as a joke. I admit. I'll probably be doing this too.
He'll go down as another Henry Cooper. He'll do something brilliant ONCE and he'll be venerated as a British hero for the rest of time.
Big talk puts fighters to that situation. If Adamek loses to either bro his accomplishments in lower divisions will be remembered because he backs his **** up and acts like great boxer is supposed to act.
He will be wealthy bum after the fight or an All Time Great who is wealthy. All time great because of the weight difference between Haye and the k brothers. He has already beaten three guys with twenty heavyweight fights, most victories. So he is a decent heavyweight champion already. I am not convince the version of Ruiz Haye fought is worst than the version Chageav got a split decision with. Peter has fought the K brothers three times, everybody else has not proven themselves more than a flash in the pan or an old guy with a name. I would Haye on par with Bryd at the moment for achievements. For me Haye, Sollis and Peter are the best around outside the k brothers. Chageav, Sultan, Thompson, Bryd are second tier. Adamek might be this level. All others are long way short of decent. Some are dangerous like Aerola but that is it.
But Byd has pretty good skins; 2000 Vitali, 2001 Tua, 2002 Holyfield.. Nice Chris Byrd HL: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE4sTNx1IdU"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE4sTNx1IdU[/ame]
