I disagree. Haye's already established himself as one the best cruisers. And I doubt people will call him a bum if he loses to either Klitschkos.
It depends how he performs. If its one sided beating then Haye turns out to be nothing more than a hypejob. But losing in a good fashion is a completely different story.
CW isnt the most respected division out there. Winning over old Mormeck (who should lose to old Bell) and a hypejob Macarinelli isnt any great accomplishment. For me Haye's remained unproven.
exactly. Its sad but those are the majority of the fans who generate most revenue so from intellectual point of view nobody should care what they think but from economical definitely yes.
He wont be either,if he was to be beaten, then he'd still go down as a 2 weight world champ and problies off into hollywood. If he wins, then he'd still not get credit off most of his haters by claiming klits aging/not even that good.Either way Haye will always have people criticising.
This is the sensible answer, to think otherwise is plain stupid. Since when does being beaten by the two dominant hw's of the last few years relegate a fighter to bum status??? Jesus......
I'll treat you morons to a sane assessment. Haye is a live underdog against both. 40/60 against Wlad. He can KO him but will risk getting KOED himself. Against Vitali he is more likely to resort to pot shotting. If Wlad hurts him that will be his B game. Don't assume it can't go to points with Wlad.
Haye became a bum the very next day. But we knew they would throw him under the bus all along...:good
he has 2 cruiserweight championship fights...hes the greatest cruiserweight of all time...right behind holyfield carlos deleon ossie occasio dwight qawi orlin norris nate miller al cole bobby czyz robert daniels akim tafer adolpho washington ................. .............. ............ brb, my fingers hurt
Haye, internationally, will be remembered as a loudmouth ass clown who talked his way into a massively humiliating ass whipping...after backing out of it several times previously. British fans will remember him as a demi-god in the sport. Wlad and Vitali will likely be laughing about him in their rocking chairs in 50 years.
