Of course many haters on here will say they dont care. Thats fair enough. That isnt the question..its simply do you think this latest "not renewing my boxing licence" thing is anything more than him wanting a headline/attention? Do you actually believe that 30yr old Haye will not fight past his imminent 31st birthday? I dont buy it for a moment. He will fight on. He just wants to get big money pay days (can't blame him) but without actually earning the right to them by fighting his way back to the top of the pile of garbage that is called the heavyweight division we have today.

So..despite that I still see him as the best fight out there for Vitali. Whether it happens depends on whether they can agree the money side of things but regardless if Haye gets another crack at a world title (deserved or not) I do think he'll fight on at least once or twice more before he really keeps his word and retires. Whaddya reckon?

I put don't care just because once a guy retires like this, he plays games and it is all about his ego. Look at Sugar Ray Leonard. Coming back and then retiring again. Becomes their own personal game. I like David and I would have liked David to keep fighting and thought he could do something although I don't think he can beat the Klitchkos just because they are too big for anyone to fight, not because they are better.

If he really stays retired I think it just means he knows he'd never be king at HW.

He will be back if Vitali fights him. He will be KO'd and then he will retire for good. He wants the last money fight without earning it. Those that say Haye will KO Vitali, go smoke another joint and space out some more!
