I think that eventually they will fight. but not right now. Haye is building up the fight by talking but I don't think that he is phsically ready to fight Wladimir. Boring Wladimir may be, but it's hard to get inside of his reach, and if he lands a hook or right on you it's lights out.
You know what, I've got my hopes high so many times before and I've been let down one too many times by Haye (and the boxing promoters, I don't even want to single out Haye by himself). There hasn't been a unification bout in HW in many years and there likely won't be any in many years. Between Haye, Don King, Sauerland, Valuev, Povetkin and God knows what boxing organization politics involved I don't see it happening.
Hope he will, but I don't see the fight happening for at least 1½ years. And I actually think the fight will never happen.
Maybe in a couple years, after Haye has milked his valued WBA title for a few more fights, but certainly not now. I think when Haye rewatched the Wlad Chambers fight for the umpteenth time, and how Chambers crumbled and went limp into the ropes from that left hook, he said to Adam Booth: That could be ME!!!!!!! I know he is calling me out, but I am not getting in there with that guy! Make a statement telling them how tired I am.. Tell em I need to rest, or something like that, but no way am I getting in there with either one of those big Ukrainian guys...............
There's a much better chance that Haye fights Vitali. Like them or not, Haye's team is pretty sharp and they do a good job weighing risk vs. reward. A fight against Wlad at this point is extremely high risk/high reward. Whereas, a fight against Vitali is not. The reason for this is simple: there's a very good chance that Haye would be able to go the distance with Vitali. Hell, Kevin Johnson did it! And even if he loses a decision, that's not the end of the world. But a devasting KO loss to Wlad might just end his heavyweight career.
didnt he "build up" the fight by sitting ringside for their fights and talking smack to any camera that was around? or build it up when he made those tshirts and magazine ads? or didnt he build it up when he signed to fight one of them and agreed to fight the other. I dont think he needs to "build it " anymore. i would have built up the ruiz fight and any other fight besides wlad those are the ones that need it. Haye as his and his fans say "is the world heavyweight champ" how is someone of this magnitude not ready to fight anyone in the world? i dont get it, explain? :huh
I would like to see Haye fight Vitali next. If he could beat him then that would build up a mega fight with Wladimir, and would bring a hell of a lot of attention to the heavyweight division.
Will he hell. I would love it as i think Wlad will finish him early, but if Haye is truthful with himself he will look at his fight with Ruiz and deep down he knows he is not ready.
No and the Klits are not the only ones that would KO the Hypemaker in the heavyweight division. Pick carefully Haye or the dream will be over.
