With Haye's announcement that this fight is rescheduled for Feb does anyone think it will actually materialise or is it destined to be one of those fights that just doesn't happen for one reason or another? Looking at the comments on both Fury and Haye's Facebook pages it is obvious that fans are losing faith in him, some have even started supporting Tyson as they feel they have been messed around by Mr. Haye one time too many. So will the appetite still be there in 4 months time, will fans wait around with there tickets hoping that nothing else goes wrong in the meantime? Also how will the reschedule effect ppv buys or how much effort Sky put into promoting it second time round? Sky have to be getting impatient with Haye by this stage, or am I wrong and these just typical knee jerk reactions to the delay of the fight :think Personally I would like to see Fury take a tune up and then try to get the winner of Wlad v Povetkin and for Haye to try to redeem himself by taking on Vitali before he retires.
things like this happen all the time in boxing. it's nothing new. people look forward to a fight, it gets called off for one reason or another, they *****. it gets rescheduled, they get the buzz back like they did before. it's then all forgotten about. i don't think we're looking at a Brook/Alexander situation where it got called off 3 times. this fight will happen on the new date. lighting won't strike twice.
Yeah would be thinking the same but then it is Haye we're talking about and with him you never can tell what's going to happen. Hopefully Fury picks a wise tune up opponent and there are no more boo boos for Haye and we might just have a fight but still have a feeling something's going to put a spanner in the works.
