Haye said he has spoken to a network in Germany that was willing and able to outbid Kiltschko's station RTL for his future fight with Wlad. If what Haye said is true, wouldn't it be logical for that TV station to broadcast Haye - Harrison, just in order to maximize the popularity and future revenues for Haye - Wlad in Germany? As far as I know Haye - Harrison will be co-promoted by German promoter Sauerland so there shouldn't be any legal issues broadcasting the fight there.
It probably won't be but it doesn't mean Sauerland hasn't communicated to Haye and Booth that ARD were not prepared to pay more than 2.5mil EURO for the fight which is that RTL would pay the Klitsckos. Honestly pointless thread.
Haye said he has talked to "other stations over there" that were according to him were willing and ready to outbid RTL. If that was the case then I am curious why this station wouldn't pick up Haye - Harrison in order to set the Wlad - Haye bout next year, considering Sauerland is co-promoting the fight? I mean that would be logical wouldn't it?
Its logical but not 100%. I doubt a german tv station will show the fight but it doesnt mean ARD wouldnt outbid RTL. It was a good offer from Haye the Klitsckos should of accepted.
i dont think haye said a differant network was in for the fight he just thinks rtl would stump up more money for this fight than they would for say wlad vs eddie chambers or vitali vs briggs , but they couldnt as they had a contract with the klits at a set price for all the fights under that contract
