He has the power to make up for the shaky chin though. He can hit first and become champ, it can happen in today's open HW division(well after the Klitschkos are gone, they'll dominate until they get old or retire.
Yes. My only concerns are the Klits, but even if he has trouble with them, they wont be boxing forever and he will win a belt.
i think he needs a couple of more fights at HW. I think he might be a champ in a couple of fights. Anyway he´s bringing some exitment to the HW division.IMO
haye relies far too much on his speed and power, not enough sound boxing. fights in explosive bursts like abraham then retreats and rests except doesn't have the chin and high guard. looks to have serious stamina issues at hw and gets manhandled in the clinch. still very dangerous early but gets sloppy with his punches and especially with his feet...which explained why he went down against Barrett. That could mean death against someone who can actually punch. lots of opportunities for smart technical boxers and pressure fighters with good whiskers.
Because he has broken the mould finally, hopefully. But sometimes when he fights he might as well put a bullseye on his chin.
I'd be very surprised if, when all's said and done, Haye hasn't ended up being at least a belt-holder.
