Will HBO announcers say that this might be the last Top Rank fight on the network?

    unfortunately, HBO had the date for Martinez all along, they never accepted the Cotto fight, ...so that's incorrect

    I am talking about Cotto vs Mayorga & Top Rank. U are talking about Sergio Martinez, Lou Dibella. I'm I missing something?

    From what I am reading Arum just shredded De La Hoya & Shaefer on their promotional skills. Calling them the shadiest people ever. Doubt Top Rank & Golden Boy can co-exist on the same network together. I see more head to head shows, by that I mean Top Rank being on the same nite Showtime that Golden Boy is on HBO.

    Give HBO a little credit. Their number one for so long. Why would they break bridges? Their still looking forward to seeing pacquiao in his next fight. Even if they dont want manny back on their network. GBP is not the dominate promoters they hope he would become. Arum with all his fault (in house fights, outburst, etc) are still good at creating new stars.

    GBP may be the future once they learn to create stars. But they also need to treat their boxers like human beings. Some of their fighters seems like pawns to me. Its no wonder a lot of big name are jumping ship.
