As we know every time the boxing world losses a great fighter or personnel they have a honoring ceremony towards that fighter in the next HBO fight.

Do you think HBO will or should honor Valero after knowing the result of his death was due to him taking someone else's life... a murderer.

I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled a WWE and just stonewalled him (my understanding is that you never heard the name Benoit again on any of their products after the full details of the situation were learned).

Spousicide isn't exactly one of those small things that can be overlooked.

It would be horribly inappropiate if they did.

Valero never proved himself to be a great fighter, and he definately wasn't a great person. I highly doubt it.

It would be an insult to guys like Arguello, Forrest, and Gatti (as both human beings and competitors) if they did.

They'll just report what happened and say that this is another black eye for boxing. There will be no honoring of Valero.

This is the woman his family suspects of being the scot-free murderess, yes? Who's to say he wasn't defending himself? It's her word against ... well, it's her word.

At least with Valero there's a pretty clear pattern of abuse, and not really much ambiguity as to whether he was a scumbag to his wife even before stabbing her.
