i think theyll talk about it but wont honour it (with a highlight reel etc). Things could change yet though we could have facts of what happened by the end of the week (although i fail to see how it could reprieve Valero at all) Maybe the guy had brain damage of his motorcycle accident - something must have been up cause no American promotions would let him fight after he had been scanned
I don't think so considering the tragic turn of events that lead to his death. I wouldn't be surprised if they did mention it, but honoring him with a moment of silence or memorial highlight video? I think HBO would prefer to distance themselves from anything concerning Valero.
Nah, that Lightweight Lightning PPV was a Golden Boy PPV. That's why the fights were being called by Barry Tompkins, Doug Fischer, and B-Hop and had such shitty production. I doubt HBO will even mention it consider Valero has never been on their network. I do think Showtime will at least have something to say about it this weekend considering Valero headlined one of their shows just under 3 months ago.
Why would HBO honor a punk and druggie who does not meet any standard of human normal behaviour? They have class.
I laugh so hard everytime I read one of your posts badmouthing Valero when I look at your avatar. Che Guevara makes Valero look like a saint. :?
I think that a stonewalling is likely or they may touch on it breifly in a news story type of way but I can't see it being a memorial of any sort.
It definitely isn't something they should be addressing and bringing light to, not exactly positive press for the sport.
