Will Hearn be licking his lips over the way Fury got dropped?

I don't mean Furys performance in general, more along the lines of Hearn thinking 'Imagine if AJ hits Fury, easy nights work for Matchroom'

No because he got up from a flush shot from a bigger puncher than AJ and didn't look hurt after.

David Price and Dave Allen will get a shot against Joshua before Fury

Fury has always been hittable. The notion that Klitschko proved he was a heavyweight Mayweather was nonsense. He's been down four times now in a fairly short career. Great powers of recovery, but even then, it's not necessarily about dropping him to stop him. Going down twice in a fight when you land about seven shots a round just makes it so much harder for you to win on points.

A 70% fit Fury just travelled to his second continent as the underdog to put on a boxing exhibition. Anthony Joshua will stay home against the likes of Takam and Povetkin for as long as the Hearns and Adam Smith can get away with it.

Why is going abroad seen as the be all and end all? Fury did that because he's not that popular at home. If Wilder was filling football stadiums and doing 1.5m PPV's do you think he'd be straight over to Manchester for a fight at the MEN with Tyson? No chance.

Fighters go where the money is by and large.

As Wilder said at the end when asked where the rematch would be “wherever the money is”

Fury's proven to be chinny and has been knocked down by the likes of Cunningham and Pajkic. Who didnt expect Wilder to drop Fury during the fight?

Hearn and AJ would be desperate to fight either of them but I dont think they will be interested in AJ and I reckon they will go for a rematch. AJ will fight the likes of Usyk, Whyte, Pulev or Miller.

I think Vegas would be desperate to host a rematch and would offer an absolute boat load of money

Who actually gives a flying **** about what Hearn thinks on that aspect of the Wilder-Fury fight. Bit of a bizarre thread to start.

The biggest loser tonight is AJ/Matchroom. Could easily be a trilogy that freezes them out for 12 months.

Also gives a genuine alternative to AJ.
