He's probably better than Whyte but I'm not entirely sold on his conditioning.

Better than anyone AJ has faced so far, that's for sure.

Whytes the best opponent AJs fought Parker comes forward takes slot of shots but doesn't have one punch KO power.

Also Parket & Whyte have fought 3 of the same opponents Nasciemento, Costa Jr & Minto Parker took 18 rounds & struggled whereas Whyte took 6 to finish all 3

    Agree with above.

Parker's last opponent threw more leather in one round than all of AJs opponents combined and it was a very dangerous test.

Parker allegedly only at 70% fitness in that fight with an elbow injury.

Parker will be his first live fight

Takam is the sort of fighter Joshua should have faced by now, looks to me that team Joshua are going the route of Khan....alot of smoke and mirrors.

Parkers AJ's mandatory IBF will push for that fight and so they should, AJ should face the no 1 challenger or a credible opponent for a HW champion.

I think it should go Parker, Ortiz, Haye, Wilder then Fury if there was such a choice over the next 2 years

I think the days of protecting AJ ended on Saturday.

The IBF rankings go... Parker, Pulev, Haye. He won't get through those without a loss.

Tyson is tied up with Wlad.

Wilder is a joke who won't fight anyone live.

Hearn won't go near Povetkin or Ortiz.

Takam or Stiverne will be after Parker if AJ beats him.

Parker's defense and stamina is quite suspect after the Takam fight, but he did prove himself and now has a better win on his record than AJ. Would be a big test for both boxers.

Will be a tough night for AJ. I can't see him getting Parker out till rounds 8-10

Even if AJ beats Parker, it still isn't really a decider if he's quality or not because Parker only has 1 half decent win on his resume.

I think the Takam fight was a serious wake up call and answered a few questions.

We can't deny that against Takam that Parker was sloppy, gassed and looked rather poor in patches but he survived and won and that was the most important thing, he won.

A Parker that looked out on his feet had to make adjustments which he did and did well enough to manage the last four rounds rather comfortably.

Fury was dropped by Steve Cunningham and people said afterwards he will get knocked out by any half decent puncher but has gone on to beat Klitschko and become the number 1, so a bad performance isn't always a sign of things to come.

I wouldn't write off Parker, no way, Breazeale just proved Joshua isn't always the steam rolling force he is made out to be.

Wasn't Fury dropped by some other journeyman? All credit to Fury for getting up and winning but if the same happened to Haye or Joshua people on here would be questioning his chin..
