It will be competitive but also the most disgraceful in history by far and away. You will see the likes of Chisora, Thompson(definitely deserves respect but he's a journeyman at best), Solis, Ruiz Jr., Fury, Wilder...etc hold titles.

It's all cycles. Every weight class ( apart from Welterweight In my opinion) goes through a drought at some point. Heavyweight will have its time again.

It's harder for the heavyweight division to be stronger than say middleweight, as the talent pool to draw from is smaller. Given that human populations should follow normal distributions i.e. there are more people whose 'natural' weight (excluding fatasses) is around the middle (let's say 160 lb).

It can still be competative and exciting, but the quality will be lower.

80'000 people just filled a stadium in England to watch two skinny dwarfs slug it out a couple of months ago as well as bringing in monster ppv numbers. Is that not mainstream enough for you fella?

No, its **** because it is ****. Wlad could of been a star in the US but he blew it.

HBO went to Europe 8 times to cover his fights and he kept disappointing so they threw their hat at him and so did the fans.
Don't blame America because of that. You lot always want to blame a whole nation , but never Wlad himself:patsch

Englishman Fury done more viewing numbers in The US than Wlad.

The division becomes hot again on July 26th in Manchester.

Um I live in the United States and we hardly see heavyweight boxing in big venues anymore.
