I think he deserves one more shot. I really think holy is better then Peter, Briggs, arreola, or chisora. really. and against haye I don't know how he would do. haye might just box scared for the whole fight or holy might wear him out and take a tko

against either kilt he gets stopped.

Never say never but the Klitchkos thankfully wont ever fight him, they genuinely respect the man from what i have read etc

I doubt that haye would go there either.

I dont know why, but I have a strong feeling that Williams is going to upset him. The strange amount of hype around the fight, the fact that it fell through 4 times. Williams has a good chin and I dont think Holy stops him, so can Williams win a decision? Holyfield hasnt really decisively won a decision in a while aside from Savarese 3 years ago, so if he cant stop Williams then I do think Williams could potentially win enough rounds to get the decision. Keep in mind that in the last 4 years Holy has lost more rounds than he has won.

I don't want to see him get hurt. A bad beating at his age could mean permanant disability or even death, and frankly that's the last thing you want to see happen to a great fighter and a great person who has brought so much to the game. I don't have a problem with him continuing to take on men at his level, for lower profile belts, but he has no business in the ring with any of the top flight men anymore.

Spot-on. There comes a point in time where a line is crossed and a fighter has taken one big fight too many. Unfortunately, in many cases, this only becomes evident to a fighter like Evander Holyfield after that distasteful beating has been administered. Holyfield fighting a top-flight fighter would likely be a replay of a long line of sad farces such as Louis/Marciano and Ali/Holmes.

As much as I detest our David Haye, I have little doubt that the result for Holyfield would be a lop-sided decision loss at best, with something worse more likely. I would think that Haye and Booth view EH as the perfect combination of eminent name and severely deteriorated skills. This is a low-risk fight they can promote to the hilt for a high payoff from the casual boxing public.

    Agreed completely,

Haye vs Holyfield would be a mismatch at this point, and probably a very ugly ending for the real deal. If Evander wishes to continue fighting guys who are of the calibur of Brian Neilson, Frans Botha or Vinnie Maddalone, then let him do so, but a match with any top 10 fighter would be inappropriate..
