I think Sillakh, Bute, Ward and Dawson probably beat him, if he chooses to avoid them then he could make it but doubtfully.
Don't think so. Three years is a long time. When you're already 47 years old, each year is more like two on your body. Consider how much he's faded since he fought Pavlik about three years ago also. He's a complete shell of his old self. Still a top light heavyweight, but pretty much shot when you think about what he once was.
if he has enough in the tank against dawson, then possibly , but dawson looked very strong in their last fight
I hope he surprises me and gets it done. I'm probably a part of the 3% of boxing fans who still loves watching him fight.
First things first... He has to get passed by Dawson and the man is strong, tall, skilled and is willing to go at it. Bernard should just go all hell breaks loose and dismantle this mentally weak fighter and from that point on just rethink well where you're at and what else is there to do...
As much as I like and respect Hopkins as a fighter, I think Dawson will simply be too strong for him although I hope he proves me wrong. Dawson has no respect for Hopkins and he wants to crush him, mentally and physically so I know that he is going to go all out.:bbb
Everyone hated the Hopkins-Jones Jr. II fight because of Hopkins play- acting trying to get Jones disqualified. You watch the other parts of the fight and it was a good fight, Hopkins was masterful. I have no Idea why Hopkins was trying to get a DQ win as he was easily winning on points. I think the 3% is a little high actually, I think it is basically you and I and that's it LOL
Hopkins isn't getting any younger and he's looked older and slower than ever in his recent fights. If anyone could do it, it would be Hopkins, but I think it unlikely based on the deterioration I have seen in recent performances.
