Don't go crazy just yet folks I'm just curious. If he does go down the cruiserweight route and fights Adamek that would lead me to believe that he really is interested in creating history. Like Moore he's getting better with age and I really think he could do a number on Adamek like he did on Pavlik.

I'm not saying put him in with any of the giants like the Klitschkos or Valuev but after he fights Adamek what a fitting finale it would be to his career if in the autumn he went after Chagaev or whoever might be the most realistic shot at heavyweight glory - Haye might be champ then too (for another thread).

I think there's a chance he may fight cruiser. If he did that...man, it would be hard to keep Hopkins out of the top 20 ATGS especially if he beat Adamek.

Hopkins is better than that. Not interested in circuses.

I was never his biggest fan but I've always followed his career and watched his fights. The guy is a legend and I'd like to see him go after Adamek then Chagaev.

Adamek can be out boxed, as was seen in the Cunningham fight, and Hopkins is as intelligent and good at boxing as you'll see. When you move up in weight and are a better boxer than your opponent, the only way you can really be beaten is by being out worked or knocked out. Hopkins has shown in recent fights he can up his work-rate when needed and push his opponent back, even at 44 - Winky Wright, Kelly Pavlik etc, and his defense and chin are good enough for him to be able to take Adamek's power in my opinion. It's a tough fight given that's it 15 lbs up from where he is now, and Adamek is the #1 in the division, but he truly is an elite ATG fighter, Adamek is merely world level at this point.

If Hopkins beats Adamek at CW, I have no doubt he'd beat Valuev at heavy. Valuev doesn't hit that hard for a HW, and is too slow to catch Hopkins anyway, if Hopkins moves up and keeps his hand speed he'd batter Valuev's body all night and take an easy decision.

PS: Why the **** is out boxed blocked as one word hythenated?

I would like him to do this Archie Moore on Dawson first, lets see whats left after that! its a lot more interetsing than finding mediocre Criusers and Heavies he can beat dont you think.
