It's been proven already that MIRANDA's team priced themselves out and messed up that fight.

Hopkins definitely has nothing left to prove. He likes the money and he is addicted to beating younger guys who everyone in the USA ranks high/ overrates. I guess Dawson fits the bill perfectly. Kessler, unfortunately doesn't.

i read it in extrabladet (danish paper), and if i can find it on the net i'll link it. mogens palle never wanted that fight and dismissed miranda as a subpar opponent...in favour of sartisan because he held a paper title.

Kessler needs a belt, much like Winky Wright needs a belt, otherwise no one would ever fight him because it would be too much risk for too little reward.

Was it really that hard to understand? Why don't you think first before posting?

I was referring to his press releases. Where he is criticizing fighting the likes of Haussler and trying to get a rematch with Calzaghe, calling out Hopkins, in other words looking for big fights. Attending fights. That puts pressure on his promoter. If he's saying that in public, behind the scenes he is on Palle's ass to push for big fights.

The past is the past. What is the point in going over the rights and wrongs, we have to look forward and I think his tactics here are right.

Yet I hope he takes this fight all the same :deal.

I for one would love to see it.

Considering Kessler will have power @ 170 and Hopkins the faster man (ultimately), I'd love to see how he'd try and outfox the big Dane (who I rate as an athlete but give 0 points for ring smarts).

In any event he should stop chasing the Welshman for a re-match - it ain't gonna happen :blurp.

his tactics arent right if he's fighting these guys to begin with.

calling out hopkins and sitting ringside at his fights arent going to help him.

just post what you think and save the "is it really that hard to understand? think before posting" crap.

you know i think before i post and we're hammering this out nicely but you cheapen it when you start your post like that.

    rest of it was good.

I cannot think of a better way for Hopkins to get the calzaghe rematch than to destroy/defeat Kessler easily ?

#1 Hopkins proves a major point and earns a good $
#2 Sets up a rematch with Calzaghe

Well its frustrating when you don't comprehend what I've actually posted and go off on some other tangent. You may as well not even quote my post if you want to do that. I was referring specifically to his public statements which are a huge part of boxing, and then you start talking about past fights.

I'm more interested in talking about what Kessler is doing right now to get fights, and what he could do. We've been over the Haussler/Sartison/Miranda ground a million times and its really really boring now. We get it.

Let's try something more positive. What does he do now?
