Will Hopkin's mind games have any effect on Pavlik?

Pavlik sticks to his fight plan as well as anyone. Taking shots and sticking to it is harder than some guy talking **** to you. Pavlik is going to KO Hops.

Well, I came away from the second fight really admiring Taylor. Inspite of what Amy and TF says, I think Taylor will make noise at SMW. At his point in their careers, I still think Taylor takes JC. Easier than Pavlik because of the style match up. I think making weight was affecting Taylor in his last fights. We shall see.

Nope, he is younger with a heavier punch and a similar work rate.

None. If I was Pavlik I'd spill a big glass of milk all over Hopkins at the Press confernece.

What deep seeded (or deep seated) insecurity would that be? Are you suggesting that Huggy Bear got to Joe before their match? WTF were you watching?

Once Hopkins drew Joe into the verbal battle Joe took it hook line and sinker. I ended up more disgusted with Joe the Bhop. Now that took some doing given the 'white boy' crap. But Joe comparing Bhop to a dog? That was even worse.

Hopkins' "mind games" and style in the ring will be enough to affect Pavlik greatly and throw him off his game in a big way, making him sloppier than ever and perhaps getting dropped multiple times from sneaky counters. Unless Hopkins comes in way more past it than he was against Calzaghe, Pavlik is really in for a tough, tough fight. I don't understand why Arum wants this fight to be made. Pavlik is not going to look good, even if he wins. It'll be impossible to make Hopkins fight Pavlik's fight and Pavlik matches up with him horribly.. he can only hope to outwork Hopkins to a close decision win. No matter what, Pavlik is going to look bad here.
