Both bronze Olympians, Golota fought with big names but lost almost every time, will it be similar by Hrgovic?
Hrgovic seems like a nutcase too the way he fought against Zhang. I can see him pulling some Golota type stunts in the future.
I think Hrgovic just has to keep his head and recalibrate. Zhang was a tough out but he got the official W so don't stress about it. Focus on the next fight is all.
I don't think we can look into the Zhang fight too much, some of his behaviour was odd but he was still getting over the death of his father, having lost my father myself, it can really mess you up mentally. Also the way he was able to rally from the bad start to get back into the fight and take the later rounds, Golota wouldn't of done that he would of just folded in the first round like he did vs Lewis and Brewster. So lets give him the benefit of the doubt right now.
Comparsion kills all joy. They are Nothing alike. Golota is a certified mental midget, also in spurts was very talented, a much smoother puncher than Hrgovic. Hrgovic seems to have a good chin and a tough mentality, but hasnt yet shown a top level performance, Golota woukd have folded and been stopped by Zhang.
Hrgovic pushed though his father death to win a fight against one of the most lethal and educated punchers in the sport. He is not like Andrew. Golota seemed health anxious during his best years, but people tend to forget the punches he traded with giant men before cracking mentally. Holyfield said it himself—he could not stand and trade with Bowel like Andrew did. Besides, Hrgovic ain't as good as Golota.
