Will the HW's of the future have to be over 7 foot to be dominant like in 30-40 years time.The up and comming HW boxers are 6foot 7 to six foot 8 inches.
Basically, they'll have to be around 4-6 inches above the "average" height. Our generations average height is about 6'0" for men who have good nutrition growing up. Hence 6'4-6'6 is about the height you need to be, to be a serious contender. Ali's generation was average height of around 5'9.

6'3-6'7 is about as big as a guy can get and still be storng and athletic enough to be successful in the ring. There are exceptions, but they are few and far between.
Generation, rather than total - the generation I'm referring to are fighters in their 20s and 30s, so born after 1975.
Yeah they will keep getting bigger for sure I saw a program on discovery where they genetically altered mice to be bigger. They said if they did the same thing to a human they would be 12 feet tall and 700 pounds all muscle.
30-40 years from now people will say that Yu Kay Oh is only champ because of his 7' 2" size, beating up an KO-ing puny little 6' 5" guys but has no skill like the champions from the ye olde days (the golden era's like 2000-2015) They will call him boring and he'll be lucky that all the real athletes are playing Football (all kinds), Skeetball and Checkers. :bart edit: and by the way 2018 post jail FMJ @217lbs would have schooled him...
