I personally would be very surprised if it wasn't. I think this was one of the main reasons Pac was ringside Saturday night although I think Mayol is promoted by Pacquiao's promotional company back in the Philippines. Pac must fancy his chances against the Cotto that turned up Saturday night.

Also if the fight is made, what do you guys think would happen?

i think it will happen, but i think cotto should not take this fight.....i think cotto is weakened as a fighter, post-margo.....i think he will go longer then hatton, but i have a real nasty image of cotto brutally ko'd....if clottey was hitting cotto cleanly, who is not a heavy-handed guy....

then i think manny hits him with upper-cuts, right hand jabs, and right hooks, that will put cotto to sleep.....if i was miguel's family i would advise him not to take this fight....it only makes sense from a finacial perspective for cotto.

This fight definitely beats the Mayweather vs JMM fight. People planning to watch the Floyd fight might even save the bucks for this one instead.

Cotto being the rumoured man (or one of them) that Floyd ducked and retired instead.
Pacquiao being the fighter that beat JMM (though controversial to some, it's still a win).

Better set of fighters than the other fight.
