Since Hatton got Ko'ed. DLh isn't fighting Mayweather again. It is very likely that this fight happens next year. If cotto wins, which I think he will that would set up a huge fight for PBF vs Cotto at the end of the year. What do you guys think?
mayweather said he would most likely take 24 months off. Cotto would be a great fight for sure, thoguh.
Cotto just beat Mosley: This probably being the biggest fight of Cotto's career. Williams is a step back financially and legacy wise. I don't think a Williams fight is necessary.
I think Cotto takes DLH easily at this point, I say ODL still fights Hatton, still the biggest money out there for him.
If Cotto looks good in his next fight, we can be sure that he will face Mayweather in one of the biggest money fights ever.
I agree with Cotto beating DLH,but I don't agree with beating him easily part. DLH was waiting to between the winners of Cotto-Mosley & PBF-Hatton. So he has COtto & PBF to chose from. He already fought PBF and I don't think he is interested in fighting him again. Cotto beat the guy who beat DLH twice (mosley& dlh ared 1-1 IMO). He is undefeated. He is a champion. HE is on P4P lists. This is the most obvious and natural fight. This is the biggest money fight possible besides either of them fighting PBF. Its just plain logic.
Oscar would be stupid to fight Cotto after he dealt with Mosley with relative ease. Cotto would land bombs on Oscar and rock him then probably get a UD, giving Oscar yet another loss and a bit more embarrassment. Oscar wants a big win to close out his career but I just don't see him beating Cotto at all.
