I dont care what they look like, I care what they weigh! 4oz is a helluva lot closer than 12oz.

And should we start picking on the attire of the gents in the picture. You left that one well alone didn't you.:rofl What is the pretty little handkerchief tied to the side on the right fighter? Just funnin you, rhetorical question.

I joined well before you - seems with training and working I might read ESB rather than post all the time.

What Handkerchief you raving lunatic ? And what on earth are you on about "you left that one well alone didn't you" - It was me who mentioned their attire in the first place. Are you drunk ????

If you dont care what they look like then dont come on here claiming they are 'similiar' to the boxing gloves of bygone eras because they are not :good

What is that blue and white thing around his waist you git? After googling all those images you put one up showing two guys, one with very tight blue shorts and a white belt and the other with red shorts and half his arse hangin' out.

And the look of a glove is nowhere near as important as the padding and weight idiot. Unlicenced boxing gloves 4oz, MMA gloves 4 oz, modern boxing gloves 10 - 12oz. Do the math.
Your not the sharpest tool in the shed are you?

So they are similiar by weight alone. THAT IS IT ! So in reality they are not similiar are they ? They just weigh the same. And boxing gloves are heavier now for protection. I'm sure that if the majority of MMA bouts didn't end up on the floor and fists were the only tools which were permitted then the gloves would be bigger too :good

And I have no idea what the ribon tied around his waist is for. It looks like a US flag so I can only presume that it is for (a.) Worn for pride/decorative purposes or (b.) and probably most likely - It is worn to differentiate between fighters ?

I presume you will inform me that I am wrong and would be so kind as to put me straight :good

So the old boxing gloves and MMA gloves weigh similar, have similar padded areas, are made out of leather or similar material, have no wrist guard - yet according to you are nothing alike? :patsch

No idea what the "ribbon" is for? Well you spent the last five minutes googling the answer before giving up, try another five and learn something about the origins of the sport that you feel is so much more manly than MMA. In fact have a look at the original rules and learn how many similarities their are in old unlicenced boxing and MMA.

LOL - you hardly make yourself look better. Some of it was funny, some lame and a lot of it was big erroneous assumptions. You definetly like your fighting upright - in fact I would venture to say that should any boxing match comes on you are immediately "upright" and it has got nothing to do with the misses.

The American sterotype was good - but I am not American. Seems like you have no ****in' idea how boxing and MMA are feeding off and working with each other in many other countries since the 90's. The 1980's are calling you - they think you are well informed.

LOL - a lotta work went into that one. Your not trying to be funny? You should do standup , you are wasting your talent here. Lets look at your facts which aren't funny again seeing as you had to state twice that they were facts.

-Sugarray is obsessed with the gay.
-Sugarray wants to participate in his pants.
-Sugarray as a troll will crave other fanboys.
-99% of Sugarray's posts are **** - the other 1% is the incomprehensible crap written above.
-Sugarray sees undies and rubs his balls. THAT IS GAY.
-Most of his posts have terrible knowledge and he doesn't know what do when told he is a ****wit.
-Sugarray thinks being remebered on a forum is an accomplishment - he will be forgotten about as soon as the novelty wears off.
-The best troll p4p posts pretty much the same as Sugarray just a tiny bit more stupid. Note i said tiny. Twice.
-The funniest post he came up with he has to be on drugs.

A penny to a pound you'd **** if you even entered a boxing gym fraud. I imagine even being in the same street as a MMA gym brings on the brown streaks down your gimpy ****in chookers.

Whilst you have been getting your jollies equally myself and our amateur boxers and a couple of Thai fighters have been laughing at you whilst waiting for our weigh in for the weekend.

Owned - on a forum? I have been owned in the ring, owned in the cage and owned on dusty Thai makeshift rings but on a forum? What a gladiator - you would really have to be gay to get your kicks that way.
