I respect your opinion, and you obviously have your reasons for thinking it is "ultra boring", however could I suggest you download and have a look at the WEC(lightweight section of the UFC) event from a couple of weeks ago? The event is nearly 4 hours long, including the full prelims and undercard, and I found every single fight extremely entertaining, cracking back and forth fights with every fighter giving it their all. If you can find one fight on that card that was boring then I will be baffled.

Never, not once, anywhere, by anyone, did a Mixed Martial Artist say they could beat any boxer anywhere in a boxing match. I'll save you the time of googling it. They haven't. Because it'd be stupid. It's equal to saying that they'd outgrapple an ADCC Champion. It'd be equally stupid. And equally futile to try.

It's boxers, 100% of the time, that say, "Our sport is so superior that we can beat you at your game with nothing but ours."

That is absurdity on a level rarely reached by anyone.

I just finished reading this thread, and I must say that no matter how many times I hear the same old, tired arguments, I'm always surprised about the amount of stupidity and willful ignorance. Never ceases to amaze me.

 

Its bad enough this fight is happening, now we have to deal with every ignorant punchdrunk boxing fan who has a computer.

 

If Toney beats Couture by submission, it will be.
