Will James Toney knocking out Couture finally be the nail in the coffin for MMA?

    no, and heres why: randy is not in his prime, it be different if toney kayoed lesnar or fedor. but even then it wont be the end of mma.

    i love mma but i really hope toney knocks couture in to retirement for good

    **** yeah. toney will knock that ***** ass out... along with mma. its like killing two birds with one stone.

    Ok - I'll play ball - Yes, boxing will KO MMA forever IF Toney KO's Randy.

    Much in the same way pro wrestling killed boxing after Ali lost to Ioki.

    I don't expect Toney to make it out of the first round, he doesn't have respect for the grappling game which every serious mixed martial artist has including former boxer turned MMA fighter Ray Mercer. Just look how easy it is for boxers to get tied up in the ring, add the fact that Toney isn't a clinch fighter, and you can calculate his chances for victory fairly easy. Once Couture gets his hands on him Toney's done, however, I thing Randy might do the noble thing and just submit him.
