So you were there to know it didn't happen?

It's been confirmed by multiple people including Billy-Joe Saunders, and people who were at the TMT gym at the time.

Sparin is sparin, its a differdnt kettle of fish altogether. Whether he did or didnt, doesnt have much bearing on fight night.
He didnt knock sai out, in fact he clearly lost that fight.
Cox had potential at one time but that was a long time ago And thats all it was.
I just cant see anything other than a L for Cox

    Groves is a big favourite

Cox has been fighting at a fairly low level and Groves is at world elite level

Unless Cox has been hiding something, this will be an easy win for Goves, probably by stoppage. Groves has not slipped either

Sparring is sparring you are right, but to knock someone out of Jack's calibre sparring or not shows that Cox has more about him than most are giving him credit for here.

Perhaps Cox is one of those people who fights to the level of his opponent. Still, I agree Groves will be a level above and I expect him to do the business to set-up this mouth watering clash with Eubank.

I did used to like Cox and tbh i can believe he did spark jack out in sparin. But ive seen lads that are red hot in soarin before but come fight night they arent much more than ordinary.
but tbf to the lad, if he does land flush he could probably lay Groves out. But taking everything into consideration i think hell be out of his depth on fight night.

Loving these WSSB fights and I hope Cox turns up and really has a go at the justified favourite Groves

I never bought into the hype he fought at light middle didn't have knockout power there and lost to a decent fighter but got the robbery then disappears then returns at this weight and is now a knockout puncher but the trash that he fought did help then steps up to a tough journeyman and an OK domestic English level opponent and the knockout punch isn't there anymore Taylor landed alot and had the better skills and struggled at time ignore what company man Bellew was saying

Groves will make Jamie Cox look foolish and win by knockout

Good for you, it's been suggested on these boards in the past that Kell Brook and David Haye like Cox.. so you're in good company.

I can't stand Cox but if Groves let's it go into a brawl then Cox has a chance cos he has power

Other than that he'll be outboxed so easy imo, all he can do is brawl

Groves decision / late TKO for me

I hate to say it but WBSuperSeries needs Groves to win.

Cox and his team totally killed the presser, no banter at all they were deadpan. I know it's a sport and in ring performances count the most but you can't just be a sack of potatoes ffs.

Eddie Hearn was a **** too, he didn't sell it, you could tell he didn't want to be there or promote the fight for his fighter at all.

Groves vs Jr will deliver inside and outside of the ring.

Good thing is Cox is probably more likely to win lotto than beat Groves. I hope Groves looks phenomenal and wipes the floor with Cox.

I've noticed he doesn't seem as quick of mind as he did in the Froch build-ups. But it's hard to tell whether that's because of the punches he's taken or just because he's matured and mellowed out since then.

In the ring I think he's looked fine.
