    Nah, it stands for "World Series of Boxing".

    Which a) isn't really a 'league" in the sense of a mainstream team sport league (but probably as close to one as you'll find in boxing), and b) isn't apples to apples comparable with the WBC (absolutely not a 'league') in any way shape or form. One is an insular amateur tournament series that happened to have been ahead of the curve in terms of amateur boxing on the whole adopting more pro-style judging and rules; the other is a professional boxing championship sanctioning organization. Two completely different unrelated things.
